Emerging Trends and Research Offered at F&B and Hospitality Summits

Due to the increase in cases of the omicron variant of COVID-19 and out of concern for the health and safety of our members, speakers and staff, TRSA postponed the Inaugural F&B, Hospitality and Industrial/Workwear Conference originally scheduled for Feb. 2-3 in New Orleans.

To reveal recent research findings and trend analyses, TRSA is pivoting to a virtual format and running the F&B presentations on a separate day from hospitality to make it easier for people to attend both summits. The F&B Virtual Summit and Executive Roundtable will be held Tuesday, March 15, and the Hospitality Virtual Summit and Executive Roundtable will take place the following day, March 16. Both Summits will run from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. EST. There will be three 50-minute sessions with 10-minute breaks in between, allowing attendees to improve their industry knowledge conveniently from their office.

On March 15, Robert Byrne, director, consumer & industry insights, Technomic, will update attendees on emerging trends currently impacting the F&B industry. F&B-specific results from TRSA’s Market & Recovery consumer and industry research will be presented for the first time by Yes& Marketing agency. Ryan Matthews, a veteran hospitality executive, will add anecdotal information from the industry perspective.

For hospitality attendees on March 16, Michael Dominguez, president and CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels International, will discuss hospitality developments and trends affecting the hotel industry. Hospitality specific results from TRSA’s Market & Recovery consumer and industry research will be presented for the first time by Yes& Marketing agency and Steve Miller, a seasoned hospitality executive, will validate findings with an industry insider viewpoint.
