O’Connor Tapped for UniFirst SVP/CFO

UniFirst Corp., Wilmington, MA, recently announced that Shane O’Connor, who worked for the company from 2005-2016, is returning to serve as senior vice president and CFO, effective Jan. 5.

O’Connor, who previously had held the post of corporate controller for UniFirst since 2009, left the company in 2016 to serve as SVP/CFO at Unidine Corp., a leader in dining management services, according to a news release. He now returns to UniFirst as SVP/CFO. That post previously was held by Steven Sintros, who was named president and CEO on July 31.

O’Connor, 43, is a Certified Public Accountant. Before joining UniFirst in 2005, he worked as a manager at Ernst and Young LLP in their Boston offices. O’Connor has a Master of Business Administration in Finance degree from Clarkson University and a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from the University of Notre Dame. Click here for details.
