TRSA Members Top Apparel, Sales Lists

Several TRSA operator and associate member companies recently secured positions on both Selling Power magazine’s annual list of the “50 Best Companies to Sell For,” and Apparel magazine’s “Top 50” apparel companies list.

Selling Power’s list included the following TRSA member companies:

  • Prudential Overall Supply, Irvine, CA (No. 12)
  • Aramark Uniform Services, Burbank, CA (No. 13)
  • Cintas Corp., Mason, OH (No. 16)
  • Ecolab Inc., St. Paul, MN (No. 30)
  • UniFirst Corp., Wilmington, MA (No. 33)

To gather data, the Selling Power research team issued a comprehensive application this year to evaluate the companies on the list, with detailed sections covering these categories:

  1. Compensation and benefits
  2. Sales-rep onboarding and sales enablement
  3. Sales training and coaching
  4. Sales culture

The list encompasses companies of all sizes – with sales forces ranging from fewer than 100 salespeople to companies with sales-force numbers in the thousands. To view the full list, click here.

Apparel magazine’s Top 50 included:

  • Cintas Corp. (No. 9)
  • VF Corp. (No. 17)
  • Superior Uniform Group (No. 21)
  • UniFirst Corp. (No. 29)

To be eligible for Apparel magazine’s list, public companies had to record at least $100 million in annual sales; rankings were based on overall performance and financial management. These four TRSA member companies appear on the Top 50 alongside some of America’s most popular clothing companies including Vince (1), Columbia Sportswear (31), Ralph Lauren (45), and Land’s End (48).
