VEGA Restructures as VEGA USA; Names Key Managers

The VEGA Systems Group of Oss, the Netherlands, recently announced the new ownership of VEGA Systems USA.

The company previously operated as a joint partnership. Now, VEGA Systems USA is solely owned and operated by its parent company, VEGA Systems B.V. “We are highly committed to growing the VEGA brand, and with complete ownership of VEGA Systems USA, it gives us the ability to maximize our commitment to the U.S. market and allows us to strengthen and develop relationships with our customers,” said Ad van Geffen, president/owner of VEGA Systems B.V.

With the announcement of the full parent company ownership, van Geffen also announced new leadership roles within the USA division. Kerry Bengston, a longtime industry veteran, will serve as vice president. Bengston has 30 years of laundry equipment manufacturing experience. He brings extensive expertise and knowledge of both U.S. and European equipment manufacturers, the release said.

Thad Southwick, another industry veteran with 29 years of equipment manufacturing experience, was named project manager for the USA division. He will coordinate with the growing sales team and customers to ensure that all aspects of the projects are carried out and fulfilled to their customers’ satisfaction, the release said.

Jeremy Appleby was named service manager for VEGA Systems USA. He has worked in different capacities with VEGA systems staff and VEGA equipment for the last decade.
