TRSA Seeks 2,000 Facebook Followers

TRSA’s Marketing & PR Committee has challenged individuals who work for TRSA member organizations to get more from their companies’ investment in TRSA by interacting more frequently with the association through social media: at first, by “liking” TRSA on Facebook

Click either graphic above or below (or click here) to get started by accessing the TRSA Facebook page. When you’re there, look below the picture of the U.S. Capitol for the “Like” tab and click on it. Committee Chairman Jeff Wile has encouraged management-level employees to do this and ask their employees to do the same.

Wile says that 2,000 employees of member organizations – launderers (operators) and suppliers of products and services to the industry (associates) – would find it worthwhile to follow TRSA on Facebook. The current total of followers is less than 400, including nonmembers.

Wile, an associate based in Coral Springs, FL, recommends and implements social media strategies for clients of his marketing agency, Infinite Laundry, recognized as the only such operation completely dedicated to the industry. TRSA currently uses its Facebook page to provide links to items in the News and Blog section of www.trsa.org. When an item is published there, its link is automatically posted on the TRSA Facebook page.

This gives operators and associates another means of reading News and Blog items besides accessing www.trsa.org or waiting to read an entire week’s items each Monday in Textile Services Weekly. Your Facebook preferences can be configured to alert you in your Facebook news feed (giving it priority over other news sources) that a news item has posted.
