UniFirst Corp., Wilmington, MA, recently announced 13 route sales representatives (RSRs) as 2017 recipients of the Aldo Croatti Award. Named after UniFirst’s founder, the Aldo Croatti Award is presented to those RSRs who exemplify superior customer service and satisfaction related to the delivery of UniFirst products and services, while retaining 100% of their customers for an entire fiscal year. Combined, these 13 RSRs service 1,497 UniFirst customers on a weekly basis, according to a news release.

Roughly 40 linen, uniform and facility services industry executives gathered in New York for an Oct. 30 dinner meeting to discuss local and national issues facing area operators. This was the second meeting in TRSA’s highly successful Regional Linen & Uniform Services Dinner series, following a gathering that took place in Philadelphia on Oct. 16.

Based on the tremendous growth, awareness and interest in Hygienically Clean certification, TRSA is launching a new membership category for individuals responsible for overseeing such services to their facilities. These customers will have access to specific TRSA best practices and resources including training materials to help them better manage the use of linen, uniforms, garments and other reusable textiles, as well as facility services.
