R.W. Martin Announces a Pair of New Hires


R.W. Martin Co., Kent, OH, recently added Colin Garner and Tamara McBride to its staff. Garner joins the R.W. Martin team as an industrial machinery technician, while McBride will serve as an accounts receivable specialist.

New CFO Announced at Ecolab


TRSA supplier partner Ecolab Inc., St. Paul, MN, recently announced that Dan Schmechel has decided to step down as its CFO, effective Dec. 31. Schmechel has served in the role since 2012. Scott Kirkland will become the company’s CFO on Jan. 1, 2022. Schmechel will remain with Ecolab through a transition period and retire in mid-year 2022, according to a news release.

Norchem CEO Dies in Violent Incident in LA


Kevin Minissian, CEO of industry supplier Norchem Corp., Los Angeles, died Nov. 23 in Pasadena, CA. According to a news release from the company, which Minissian founded in 1978, his sudden and unexpected passing resulted from gunshots fired by an armed suspect during a neighborhood crime spree.

Online Form Enables Supplier Partners to Testify to Their CSR


Primary contacts of TRSA supplier partner member companies can complete a checklist to support linen, uniform and facility services operators in presenting their customers with evidence of their suppliers’ commitments to corporate social responsibility (CSR). A weblink to the form was emailed to these contacts on Nov. 18, thus enabling them to attest to their companies’ adherence to principles of the United Nations’ Global Compact.
