Cleveland Clinic and Standard Textile Team Up on Masks


Standard Textile, Cincinnati, and Cleveland Clinic will collaborate to produce a nonmedical grade, reusable face mask that is designed for comfort and customization. Standard Textile will sell the face masks on its consumer website, according to a news release.

Penn Emblem to Work with James Emmett and Co.


Penn Emblem Co., Trevose, PA, recently announced a new partnership built around inclusivity in the workplace, specifically targeting people with disabilities. In November 2020, the company solidified its work with James Emmett & Co., a team of disability consultants that supports companies in launching relationships with local disability employment vendors and helps build the internal capacity to recruit, hire, train and retain employees with disabilities, according to a news release.

Next Generation Takes Over Leadership at Kannegiesser


Martin Kannegiesser recently stepped down as chairman of Kannegiesser at the start of 2021. Moving forward, Martin’s daughter, Tina Kannegiesser, will lead the company that has 2,000 employees and revenues of more than €400 million ($490.4 million), according to a news release.

Farnsworth Elected to TRSA Board of Directors


Dan Farnsworth, vice president, sales and marketing, Leonard Automatics Inc., Denver, NC, recently was elected to the TRSA Board of Directors for a three-year term. TRSA officially welcomed Farnsworth during the Oct. 22 business meeting at its 107th Annual Conference in Alexandria, VA. As a member of the Board of Directors, Farnsworth will serve on the Executive Committee of the Supplier Council.
