Based on the success of similar events and efforts in California, Kentucky, New York, Ohio, and Wisconsin, TRSA will be hosting an Illinois CEO/Executive Regional Roundtable to discuss a bill recently introduced in the Illinois state senate that would impose microfiber filtration system requirements on the sale of new washing machines for both commercial and residential use. During the meeting we will also discuss how to address this proposed regulation.
TRSA will also provide an overview of pending federal and state advocacy efforts and regulatory initiatives such as legislation introduced in Wisconsin to access tax incentives and in New York to mandate an operating threshold of reusable healthcare PPE. Finally, we will discuss other issues specific to companies operating in Illinois to identify opportunities to proactively expand, protect and promote our industry.
