TRSA’s Human Resources Committee recently announced the winner of an incentive drawing among those who participated in TRSA’s Annual Compensation & Benefits Survey.

The survey is designed to collect data from laundry operators anonymously in order to benchmark pay and benefit trends across the industry. The drawing for a $250 Amazon gift card is intended to encourage participation in the survey. Rosemary Gelinas, human resources manager for General Linen Service, Somersworth, NH, was chosen in the blind drawing as the winner of the gift card.

Gelinas said she was delighted to win the incentive prize, but her company is even more interested in the benchmarking information that they’ve received this year from the published 2017 TRSA Employee Compensation & Benefits Survey. “For our company to stay competitive, we use the information from the survey to benchmark our benefits and pay scale against others in the same industry,” Gelinas said. “As this is a valuable tool for us, we feel it is equally as important that we share our information with others in the industry.”

A total of 40 respondents completed the confidential survey. An outside analyst, the Mckay Research Group, compiles the raw data for analysis. TRSA staff never see information on pay and benefits provided by specific companies.

All respondents who complete the Employee Compensation & Benefits Survey receive a copy of the finished report at no charge. Others may buy the report either at discounted price of $495 for TRSA members, or the full price of $1,195 for nonmembers.
