Hygienically Clean: The Return of Live Inspections and More!

TRSA recently announced the reinstatement of live and supplemental inspections, along with the commencement of depot inspections as of Aug. 1.

What does this mean for your plant? If your plant was newly certified in 2020-’21 and was inspected virtually, an additional live inspection will be required. You will be contacted by TRSA or Laundry Design Group with more information regarding scheduling your live inspection. Applications currently in progress also will have a live inspection conducted and will be contacted for scheduling.

If your depot inspection was put on hold due to the pandemic, you will be contacted to schedule your inspection as well. Depot inspections will be conducted virtually or integrated with your live inspection based upon specific criteria. Lastly, supplemental inspections also will resume. Supplemental inspections pertain to certified plants only during their certification period and is applicable when three failed consecutive sample tests are received.
