Regulators OK Cintas, G&K Merger

Cintas Corp. announced on March 17 that the company has obtained all necessary regulatory consents relating to the acquisition of G&K Services Inc. with no divestiture requirements. The transaction is expected to close on Tuesday, March 21. G&K Services shareholders previous voted in favor of the transaction its annual meeting of shareholders held on Nov. 15, 2016.

G&K Services, based in Minnetonka, MN, is a uniform and facility services provider with more than 170,000 customers in the U.S. After the transaction closes, Cintas, based in Mason, OH, is expected to have more than 1 million customers in the U.S. and Canada.
