TRSA is offering a three-hour workshop on March 21 designed for supplier partners exclusively. Three sessions are designed to interactively inform and educate vendors about the latest supply-chain trends, the importance of branding and how understanding the industry’s end users helps build relationships with linen, uniform and facility services operators.

In the first session, a National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) representative will provide the manufacturing industry’s outlook on supply chain issues. Are we seeing the end of these issues or do we expect continued disruption? Attendees will learn about what improvements manufacturers are implementing to meet the needs for timely, complete shipments, such as better inventory and transportation practices.

Successfully communicating a brand requires choosing the right words and images to differentiate and ensuring the intended identity is resonating with buyers. Ken Koepper, TRSA’s director of membership/industry relations, will share in this session TRSA research that has identified branding patterns in a variety of product/service categories. Attendees will participate in exercises that enable them to compare their company’s brand communication with competitors.

Supplier partners want to know their customers better. This final session co-hosted by TRSA’s Susie Jackson, senior director, marketing communications; and Tyler Fowler, president, M&A Matting, will provide insight into what laundry operation managers think, feel and believe. Using TRSA’s recent Market Recovery and Expansion research, the workshop will review industry personas and how to use that knowledge to build relationships with customers and develop products and services that will benefit both supplier partners and their customers.

The workshop wraps up with a reception allowing suppler partners to network. For more information and to register, visit www.trsa.org/legcon.
