UWH Founder Passes On
Lawrence “Larry” H. Goldman, 84, passed away at Villa Marie Claire Hospice in Saddle River, NJ, on April 3, following a long struggle due to complications from a stroke. Larry, along with his brothers, created and developed United Wire Hanger Industries, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. He served as CEO and president for 50 years, employing 250 people, many of whom are still at the company today.
Goldman is survived by his wife of 61 years, Cynthia; children Peter (Gloria), Michael (Bonnie), Nancy (James); and his five grandchildren, David, Charles, Ally, Bari and Jake.
Funeral services were held on April 5 at Robert Schoem’s Menorah Chapel, Paramus, NJ. Donations in Goldman’s honor can be made to the diabetesfoundation.jdrf.com.
