DHS Adds Nearly 65,000 Additional Visas for FY ’23

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in consultation with the Department of Labor (DOL), recently announced that it will be issuing a regulation that will make available to employers an additional 64,716 H-2B temporary nonagricultural worker visas for fiscal year (FY) 2023, on top of the 66,000 H-2B visas that are normally available each fiscal year.

ALM Announces New Executive Director

An experienced leader and industry professional, Brobeck will succeed retiring Executive Director Linda Fairbanks and assume responsibilities on Nov. 1.

On July 25, Unitex marked the family-owned healthcare launderer’s 100th anniversary. Due to Unitex’s rapid growth since the mid-’90s, top managers planned events at 11 different facilities to mark the centennial. Based in Elmsford, NY, the company’s family executive team, including Chairman Michael Potack and sons President David and CEO Rob, led the festivities at plants in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
