Deadline Extended: Healthcare Trends Survey

To ensure we gather as much valuable input as possible, we have extended the deadline to Oct. 18 for the Healthcare Trends Survey. TRSA’s Healthcare Committee built on the success of last year’s initiative by launching an updated Healthcare Trends Survey. This year’s survey is more comprehensive, addressing seven critical trend categories: financial, fleet management, automation and technology, labor market, infection control, certification and sustainability.

California EPR Legislation Becomes Law with Industry Exclusion

On Sept. 28, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed into law SB 707, The Responsible Textile Recovery Act of 2024, establishing the first Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program in the U.S. for textiles. TRSA successfully lobbied for an amendment to this legislation that excludes the rental side of the linen, uniform and facility services industry.

Fire Safety Survey: One of Many Hot Topics at Oct. 15-16 Summit

The recently completed combination of responses to the TRSA and Textile Services Association (TSA-UK) fire safety surveys will be among plant operations developments at an upcoming TRSA in-person event. This Production Summit and Plant Tours takes place Oct. 15-16 at Newark (NJ/NY) International Airport, with fire safety among the topics discussed the first day.
