TRSA Annual Safety Survey Data Due Feb. 28

In recent years, linen, uniform and facility services companies have made great strides in reducing workplace illnesses and injuries. TRSA members had 18% fewer incidents from 2012 to 2016, according to the association’s latest Textile Services Industry Safety Report.

Superior Linen Service Fire Starts in Mat Area

A blaze that began in the mat-production area at Superior Linen Service’s Tulsa, OK, laundry facility will require the company to repair or replace lost product, according to company President and TRSA Immediate Past Chairman Doug Waldman. There were no injuries caused by the fire or structural damage to the facility, Waldman said.

Celtic Acquires Millbrook Linen

Celtic Linen, Wexford, Ireland, recently announced its acquisition of Millbrook Linen, Naas, Ireland. The purchase was finalized on Feb. 5, according to a news release.
